What is Paysquad and how does it work?

Updated

Paysquad helps a group pay for one order together. Choose Paysquad at a participating merchant’s checkout, set up your Paysquad and share the link with your squad. Everyone can open the link and pay their part.

Who is the squad leader?

The squad leader is the person who starts the Paysquad. They set it up and share the link. If that’s you, head to Squad leaders for help with your order. If someone sent you a link, head to Contributors for help chipping in.

What are the different ways we can pay together?

  • Chip in any amount: everyone chooses how much to contribute, within the amounts shown.
  • Split it evenly: the order is divided into equal splits. Someone can pay for more than one available split.
  • Claim tickets: each person chooses the tickets they want from the group’s order.

The choices available depend on the checkout. For ticket instructions, head to Tickets in your section of the Help Centre.

Do I need a Paysquad account?

If you’re starting a Paysquad, you’ll verify your mobile number with a code sent by text. Use that number when signing back in to manage your Paysquad. You don’t need to create a password.

If you’re chipping in or claiming tickets from someone else’s link, you can do that without signing in. Enter your name and email during payment so you can receive your confirmation.
